How does ordering from Walk-In Lab work?
You buy tests on the Walk-In Lab website, a physician working with the company issues the lab order, and you visit a Quest or Labcorp patient service center for the blood draw. Walk-In Lab says all fees are included when you order and nothing more is due at the lab (Walk-In Lab FAQ).
What should I know before ordering?
- Physician fee. $6 per order, not per test, and it is non-refundable. Tests you want drawn on different days need separate orders, each with its own fee (Walk-In Lab FAQ).
- GLP-1 panel. Walk-In Lab sells a “GLP-1 Basic Blood Test Panel” for $165 plus the $6 fee. The product page lists a CMP, CBC, lipid panel, A1c, TSH, and insulin, and says 8 to 12 hours of fasting is required (Walk-In Lab).
- States and age. Walk-In Lab says it cannot offer services in New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island, and that patients must be at least 18 (Walk-In Lab terms).
- Refunds. Partial refunds within 7 days of purchase. After that, a $10 cancellation fee applies (Walk-In Lab FAQ).
- Price matching. Walk-In Lab says it will match a lower online price from a competitor for the same lab (Walk-In Lab FAQ).
- Insurance. Walk-In Lab can provide a receipt to file with your insurer but does not guarantee reimbursement (Walk-In Lab FAQ).
